Hello welcome back to my blog about EDM music. If you haven't already you should click on the link above to show what EDM music sounds like. Anyways on this post i'm going to tell you guys about how Dubstep is made. Well first it is made by many programs one of them which my favorite producer deadmau5 uses is fruity loops it's a synthesizer program not the cereal.
I bet your thinking What's a synthesizer well basically it's an electronic musical instrument that generates electric signals that are converted to sound. Like the producers can put either a random sound and change it to something super different or mess around with electronic sounds from the synthesizer.

This time I am going to teach you what dubstep producers use. The producers use many things I could list but mostly it's from their computer on a software called Ableton. It has everything for electronic music production from synthesizers pitch and messing with the sound. And their is a device called a launchpad which is a little pad with cubes on it that can trigger sounds from Ableton on the computer.
